Subject: SDL Patch

Hio,

I saw your last call on the mailing list. Here's a patch which I
submitted about two weeks ago which hasn't made it in.

In the current sdl.m4, there's a bug where if your configure.ac, you
have AC_LANG(C++) specified, it won't properly compile and link the SDL
test program when you run the configure script. This is because only the
default CFLAGS is overriden in sdl.m4, and in the patch below, I've
fixed it so it overrides CXXFLAGS as well, allowing it to work with g++.
     1 #!/bin/sh
     2 #
3 echo "Generating build information using aclocal, automake and autoconf"
4 echo "This may take a while ..."
     5
6 # Touch the timestamps on all the files since CVS messes them up
     7 directory=`dirname $0`
     8 touch $directory/configure.in
     9
    10 # Regenerate configuration files
    11 aclocal
    12 automake --foreign --include-deps --add-missing --copy
    13 autoconf
14 (cd test; aclocal; automake --foreign --include-deps --add-missing --copy; autoconf)
    15
16 # Run configure for this platform
    17 #./configure $*
18 echo "Now you are ready to run ./configure"
